Hawkesdene - everyone will be staying on the same estate

We're so excited to share this unforgettable weekend with you at Hawkesdene, a private 80-acre mountain estate nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains in Andrews, NC. This beautiful property will be exclusively ours for the weekend. Hawkesdene is fully self-contained - once you arrive, everything you'll need will be there, including the wedding, accommodations, food, drink, and fun.

You'll receive a complete schedule—including meals, activities, and a few surprises!—when you arrive. For now, here's a general idea of what to expect:

• Thursday: Arrive and settle in, cocktail hour / dinner (smart casual dress), sunset bonfire and s'mores
• Friday: Brunch, morning hike, lunch, planned activities, cocktail hour / rehersal dinner (tie optional dress code, everyone is invited), post-dinner fun.
• Saturday: Brunch, yoga, get ready for wedding (formal dress code), get Caroline and Cooper married! Dinner and dancing to follow.
• Sunday: Brunch, farewell!

The mountains at the estate

We've booked the Hawkesdene Estate for 4 days - September 11 through September 14, 2025. You are welcome to arrive Thursday, Friday or Saturday depending on your preference. However, we encourage everyone to arrive Thursday or Friday to fully take advantage of what's offered for the weekend.

Every building on site is a bit unique

Your stay at Hawkesdene includes comfortable and charming accommodations that ensure easy and convenient access to the whole weekend's festivities. Hawkesdene was originally a bed and breakfast, and the original hospitality and comfort of the estate still shines through. There's a space for everyone to feel at home.

Once you formally RSVP, you will be assigned a room on the estate. Caroline and Cooper will thoughtfully organize guests in rooms based on accessibility requirements and familiarity. Every family will receive their own room or space, but some couples may share bathrooms. Caroline and Cooper will take every measure to ensure this sharing only occurs between couples who are already very familiar and comfortable with each other.

Over the course of the weekend, you'll be treated to exceptional meals prepared by the estate's talented culinary team. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will all be planned and provided - all you need to do is show up hungry! You'll also have access to a snack and beverage station throughout your stay.

Additionally, each house at the estate is equipped with a full kitchen if needed. If you have dietary restrictions, the staff is extremely accommodating and can ensure you're provided with safe and delicious food. Please let Caroline or Cooper know and we'll ensure your needs are met.

Hawkesdene offers a wide variety of activities to suit every interest. Caroline and Cooper are planning activities and options as we get closer to the wedding, but there's also plenty to explore on your own. Take a hike to a nearby waterfall, stroll through the estate's gardens, or simply relax by the creekside fire pit with a drink in hand. You'll also enjoy a llama and alpaca stable, outdoor volleyball, hammock gardens, and gathering spaces perfect for catching up with friends and family.

Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, there's something for everyone to enjoy as we celebrate this special occasion together.

In order to accommodate and feed folks for the weekend, we are requesting that guests contribute towards their stay. This covers everything for the whole weekend, from Thursday through Sunday: accommodations, food, drinks, and fun. Our requested contribution is static, and does not change based on what day you arrive.

After completing your RSVP, the next step is to submit your payment via Hawkesdene's secure online portal. Please ensure this is done by July 15th, 2025, to confirm your accommodation.
